Thanks to all the families helping to string the stockings – it is greatly appreciated!
Our homework board will be getting a website update and will be unavailable for posting anything for a week or two. Please be sure to check your child’s homework book for daily assignments.
**** 2A Performs on Tuesday Dec. 16th – They are to come to school the day they perform dressed in costume. For the Christmas play 2nd graders are to be IT Technology office workers. We talked yesterday about having them make a cell phone or Ipad out of cardboard and decorate it to look like a usable computer/phone. No real gadgets. They can be creative. They can also wear glasses if they want. We will make badges for them in class. They are to wear black or tan pants and a long sleeve polo (office attire like) and does not matter color. A suggestion might be a headset if you have one at home.
*Class Christmas party will be on Friday Dec. 19th – it is a half day, 12 noon dismissal.
Secret Santa shop for 2nd grade is next week on Tuesday Dec. 9th. Money envelopes are in mailboxes today. We go only once to shop, so please send in money on or before that day if your child will be shopping.
****NO SCHOOL ON MONDAY DEC. 8th – Holy Day of Obligation.
***Please practice flash cards each night for 15/20 minutes both addition and subtraction.

Tests for the week of 12/8/25 (Last of the tests until January 2026)
- Wednesday 12/10 – Handwriting test
- Friday 12/12 – Spelling test lesson #7 words and Religion test chap. 7 notes – Math quiz on greater than/less than/equal to and place value in a two digit number
- THE WEEK OF 12/15/25
- Thursday Dec. 18th we will have chap. 2 math test to wrap up before the holidays
