| Congratulations to our advanced math students
for a job well done in the NJ Mathematics League.
Grade 6 students placed second in Gloucester County and
Regan A was THE highest scoring student. In Grade
7, our students placed second in the Gloucester/Cape
May/Salem Region. Tim C ranked first and Evan L ranked second. Grade 8 students placed third in
Gloucester County/Cape May/Salem Region. Samantha W
(8) tied for third place. We are proud of their achievements
and hard work.

W (8) who were named finalists in the IHM Math
Contest.
St. Margaret's Regional School provides an accelerated
math program for students in grades 5-8. The purpose
of the class is to provide students who demonstrate
mathematical abilities to complete a full year of Algebra I
by the end of eighth grade. Students are selected at
the end of fourth grade. Selection is based on IOWA
Test scores, math grades and teacher recommendation.
Students who do not maintain a minimum B average at all
times in the advanced math program will be dismissed from the
group.
The
Math Counts Team, consisting of Taylor C., Lauren B., Timothy C. and Bridget M.,
are gearing up for the annual Math Counts competition which
is held at Rowan University. Good Luck!
