Congratulations to two students, Alex Akers and
Brice Russo, who have received State Award for High Honors
in the CTY Johns Hopkins Talent Search. They have been
invited to attend the CTY Award Ceremony. Both boys
received high honors in Verbal and Math.

Micklasavage on their acceptance to the AWE (attracting
women into engineering) program this summer. They were
among fifty young women accepted for the program from the
six southern counties of New Jersey.

Congratulations
to Olivia S. O.. Olivia will be receiving the President’s
Volunteer Service Award in May. Olivia also competed in and
won the title of Miss Teen Gloucester County 2008. She won
all categories – interview, casual, gown and talent. Also,
Congratulations to Olivia for placing third in the New
Jersey National Scholarship Pageant. She was first runner
up in the talent competition and received the Citizenship
Award which is a $10,000.00 college scholarship based on
academics, volunteer service and activities.

to Raymond A., Grade 7. Raymond has been named a New Jersey
Geography Bee finalist by the National Geographic Society.
He scored in the top seventy-fifth percentile for the
state of New Jersey.

Johns
Hopkins Talent Search:
The following students
performed well enough to receive the honor of Distinction in
the Center for Talented Youth Talent Search. These students
achieved a test score that equals or exceeds the average

Congratulations to Tim O’S. of 5A. He won second place in the
Woodbury Junior Women’s
Club Spelling Bee and will move on to represent St. Margaret School in
the District Spelling Bee.
The
Math Counts Team, consisting of Taylor C., Lauren B., Timothy C. and
Bridget M., are gearing up for the annual Math
Counts competition which is held at Rowan University.
