Far and away
We are from each other.
3000 miles keep us apart
Although I see you
now and then
I hardly know you.
And you hardly know me.
We talk on the phone
seldom of course.
You think you know what I like and do-
but no.
Our time together is almost up
And yet I still don't know you.
You don't know me.
Our lives are distant
And that I know.
Sometimes I wish we weren't
