Middle
school science classes at SMS
are based on a comprehensive, inquiry-based curriculum that
explores topics in life, physical science, earth science,
scientific reasoning, and technology using a hands-on
approach through experimentation, reading, and
demonstrations. The
National Science Education Standards and the Diocese
Standards are used as benchmarks throughout the curriculum.
Our
microscopes have a new home!! This summer we have
transformed the previous faculty room into a science center. Our new
science center will include new science lab tables,
new stools, new sinks and a new eye-wash
station.
